MLS Week 23 Predictions – Win Your MLS Bets
The latest round of 2016 MLS regular season games kick off with NYCFC topping the Eastern Conference and FC Dallas on top of the Western Conference, but will this still be the case after 90-minutes of soccer?

Columbus Crew SC (-110) vs. NYCFC (+280)

I find it completely bizarre that Columbus Crew SC go into their home fixture against high-flying NYCFC as -110 favorites, with the New Yorkers priced at a juicy +280. Either the bookmakers have gone crazy, or they know something that we do not.

Columbus have not won a game in their past nine matches, and do not look like ending that run at all. A 3-0 away defeat at Toronto on July 31 was their eighth loss of the campaign, and they are now seven points away from a playoff place.

NYCFC on the other hand find themselves a point clear of Toronto FC at the top of the Eastern Conference. Their away form is a bit erratic (6-4-2) but then Crew’s home form is poor (3-1-7) although they have only lost one game.

David Villa is back from suspension for this game, and he could make all the difference. Villa has 13 goals in the league, and should have at least 14 by the time this game ends, as NYCFC grab all three points.

Pick: NYCFC at +280

New England Revolution (-110) vs. Philadelphia Union (+285)

New England Revolution

New England Revolution endured their second consecutive heavy away defeat when they fell 4-1 on the road to Toronto FC last Saturday, but should bounce back against a Philadelphia Union side who are terrible on their travels.

The Revs are 5-2-4 at the Gillette Stadium, while Union’s dismal away record reads 1-6-4.

This fixture has the potential for goals galore because the two sides have leaked 77 goals between them in 46 combined games.

Union are without a win in four games, and will likely be winless in five after this match is completed.

Pick: New England Revolution at -110

FC Dallas (-141) vs. Sporting Kansas City (+400)

FC Dallas

FC Dallas are now unbeaten on home soil in a club-record 17 games and should extend that to 18 games after they take on Sporting Kansas City at the Toyota Stadium. Dallas are 9-0-3 at home, while Sporting KC are 2-7-3 on the road, but almost equally as good in their own backyard.

Dallas has won the past two home meetings between these sides, running out 2-1 and 3-1 winners. Expect a similar scoreline come the end of 90-minutes as Dallas extend their lead in the Western Conference as second-placed Colorado Rapid face a difficult trip to LA Galaxy.

Pick: FC Dallas at -141

Other weekend fixtures

Vancouver Whitecaps (+110) vs. San Jose Earthquakes (+290)

New York Red Bulls (-154) vs. Montreal Impact (+400)

DC United (+135) vs. Portland Timbers (+195)

Houston Dynamo (+130) vs. Toronto FC (+195)

LA Galaxy (-141) vs. Colorado Rapids (+385)

Chicago Fire (+105) vs. Orlando City (+270)

Seattle Sounders (-141) vs. Real Salt Lake (+350)
