Royals and Orioles Open ALCS in Baltimore on Friday Night

Royals on a ride like never before in 2014

Kansas City is finally back in the playoffs after a lengthy absence and they are not ready to let it end just yet. ‘Big Game’ James Shields will be handed the ball by the Royals as they look to win another series opener. Shields has a 3.21 ERA this year against Baltimore in just two starts. He will look to quiet the Baltimore offense in the series opener tonight.

Orioles four wins away from a berth in the World Series

With their ALDS win over the Tigers, the Orioles have put themselves in an excellent position to reach the World Series in a year where both the Yankees and the Red Sox did not make the playoffs. Tillman took down the Tigers in game one of the ALDS and will make his second game one start of the playoffs in 2014. The Orioles will look to continue to win games with their powerful offense as they try to stop the running game of the Royals.
