English Premier League Top Goal Scoring Predictions For 2017
EPL Top Goalscorers Odds
Harry Kane’s dramatic seven-goal performance in the final two matches of the English Premier League season helped the Tottenham striker win Golden Boot honours for the second consecutive year. Kane notched 29 goals to edge Everton’s Romelu Lukaku by four tallies.
With the Premier League season kicking off this weekend, sportsbooks are giving Kane the early advantage to once again be the top goal scorer during the 2017-18 campaign. However, the field is jam-packed with players more than capable of dethroning Kane as the EPL’s top scorer.
We take a look at some of the favorites for the goal scoring title, with odds courtesy of Bovada.lv.

Harry Kane (+275)
If Tottenham Hotspur aims to contend for the English Premier League championship, the club will need its best scorer to lead the way offensively once again. Bovada has the lanky striker pegged as a +275 favorite to win the scoring title once again.
Kane was nearly a goal-per-game player for Hotspur last season while also registering 110 shots throughout the season. Kane’s goal production over the last three years has steadily increased, going from 21 goals in 2014-15 to 25 goals in 2015-16 to 29 in 2016-17.
Does this mean the 24-year-old striker will break the 30-goal mark in the upcoming EPL season? If you’re a believer in trends, put your money on Kane to accomplish that feat.
Romelu Lukaku (+400)
The Belgian attacker was in control of the scoring crown last season and would have won the Golden Boot had it not been for Harry Kane’s performance over the final two games in which he scored seven goals. But it’s a new year and a fresh start with a new club for Lukaku, who left Everton after three successful seasons for a fresh start with Manchester United.
With a stronger support cast to work with and playing under legendary manager Jose Mourinho, Lukaku is a legitimate favorite to win the goal scoring championship.
Sergio Aguero (+550)
Manchester City is considered a huge favorite to claim the English Premier League title in 2018. If that is the case, the club will need striker Sergio Aguero to be at his best throughout the season. Aguero finished fourth in scoring last season, netting 20 goals in 33 appearances — down from his 26 tallies during the 2015-16 campaign. The problem hasn’t been with Aguero, but with the goal production from the rest of Manchester City players. Raheem Sterling and Gabriel Jesus netted seven goals apiece to finish second in scoring.
Alvaro Morata (+1000)
There’s a new kid in the Premier League that can very well win the scoring title in his debut season in England. Alvaro Morata has joined Chelsea after spending last season with La Liga and Champions League title holders Real Madrid. Morata netted a career-best 15 goals last season with Real, but the Spanish attacker will play a bigger role under manager Antonio Conte, who coached the 24-year-old with Juventus in 2014.Pick Sergio Aguero (+550) Bovada
