Puck Betting Action On Saturday
Saturday Best NHL Bets

Here are a few NHL betting options to consider, with odds courtesy of BetOnline.
The red-hot Bruins welcome the Philadelphia Flyers to town on Saturday as the two Eastern Conference rivals face off at TD Garden.
The Bruins — winners of seven of the last 10 games — enter action on Saturday as -205 favorites. The Flyers, who can’t afford to lose as the club is drastically trying to stay in the playoff hunt, are +184 underdogs on the road, where the club has struggled all season long.
When it comes to advanced stats, there aren’t many better teams in the NHL than the Bruins. Boston’s 53.6 percent Corsi rating — a stat that measures shot differential at even strength play — ranks second in the NHL only behind the Los Angeles Kings.
The Bruins have defeated the Flyers seven times over their last 10 meetings and have only suffered one loss during that stretch. In their last game on Jan. 14, the Bruins skated away with a commanding 6-3 win.
If you’re banking on another high-scoring game, you may want to take the over on BetOnline’s total goal projection of 5.5. Either way, the Flyers will be hungry and will come out on top.
Pick: Philadelphia Flyers (+184) and the Under
A team chasing the Bruins, the Maple Leafs can move into a tie for third in the Atlantic Division with a victory Saturday night against the host Carolina Hurricanes.
With just three wins in their last 10 games, the Hurricanes enter action on Saturday as surprising -111 favorites, most likely because of the club’s strong record on home ice. The Leafs have won back-to-back games and head to Raleigh, N.C. as very enticing +101 underdogs.
The Hurricanes will want to stay out of the penalty box against this Maple Leafs team, which boasts the top-ranked power play in the NHL with a 23.7 percent conversion rate. Nazem Kadri, who has 28 goals on the season, leads the Leafs with 11 power-play markers.
Head-to-head, the Leafs have won two of the last three meetings, including a 4-0 win on Feb. 19.
The Leafs are an offensive threat, regardless the opponent. The total goals projection has been set at 5.5 — a mark these clubs should surpass on Saturday.
Pick: Toronto Maple Leafs (+101)
The Sharks are running away with the Pacific Division title and can add more separation from the pack on Saturday when they host the visiting Nashville Predators.
The Sharks, coming off back-to-back wins, enter action on Saturday afternoon as -150 favorites at the SAP Center, where the club holds an incredible 21-7-4 record this season. The Preds are quietly sneaking up the Central Division standings as they head to San Jose as +136 underdogs.
The game will pit one of the best defensive teams in the Sharks against the Predators, whose 2.91 goals per game ranks among the top 10 ten in the NHL. The Sharks are surrendering a third-best 2.32 goals against per game.
The Sharks hold the advantage in the head-to-head matchup over the last 10 games, winning six times during that span.
If you’re considering an over/under wager, the total goals projection for this match has been set at 5.5. However, goals won’t come very easily when these two clubs clash on Saturday.
Pick: San Jose Sharks (-150) and the Under (5.5)More articles...
